Confirmed reports received by Ogaden News Agency reveal ethnic tension being fueled by the TPLF regime in the border regions between Ogaden and Oromia is on the rise once again.

Local contacts reveal a civilian by the name of Jamal Cali Nuur, hailing from the town of Ma’aayso in Shiniile province was brutally murdered by Oromo militia’s. According to local contacts who’ve chosen to remain anonymous for confidentiality purposes, Jamal Cali Nuur was a known trader traveling in Shiniile province (Ogaden) near the Oromia border when he was stopped by Oromo militia’s and hacked to death with machetes.

This heinous crime is one of many incidents of ethnic violence that has been raging in the region between the two brotherly communities, which have coexisted and lived side by side for centuries. As the TPLF regime stands on its last leg, they’ve chosen to resort to a last ditch effort by instigating communical violence between two neighboring communities, which is a sign of weakness on the part of the TPLF.

We will keep you updated with the latest developments and updates from the region.

ONA.
